Priorities Report 2018

This year’s annual priority survey ran from 9th April through to the 18th May 2018.

Following completion of the survey and analysis of the scores and individual comments it was apparent that Primary Care service (GP’s & Dentist’s) was valued as the most important health and care category.

Top 5 areas that the public highlighted in the report include:

  1. Primary Care (Doctors & dentists)
  2. Secondary Care (Hospitals)
  3. Community Care (Pharmacies, Opticians, etc)
  4. Public Health (Health promotions, vaccs etc)
  5. Mental Health (Adults and children)

Top 5 subjects that Healthwatch Salford will look at in the next year:

  1. Access to appointments
  2. Waiting times
  3. Communication
  4. Consultation times
  5. Staff attitudes and training
