How was your appointment? GP Report 2022
Our new report reveals patients’ and staff’s experiences - both positive and negative - of GP services for the past two years, and the improvements they would like to see. 954 people took part in our GP survey and we received 71 staff surveys.
Just over 1 in 10 (14%) of comments mentioned appointments in a positive way with many people citing positive experiences of using technology to communicate with their GP surgery.
However, nearly 1 in 4 (24%) of responses highlighted negative experiences, with some mentioning that telephone communication acted as a barrier to effectively conveying their medical issue to the GP or nurse.
